Steve McNair, former NFL Quarterback, has been found dead with a gunshot wound to the head. Also found was a female victim. Police are still investigating what happened and no suspects have been taken into custody yet. We will update you with more information as we have it.

Arizona Cardinals Advance to Super Bowl

Kurt Warner, Larry Fitzgerald, and the Arizona Cardinals are all headed to the Super Bowl. They had an exciting finish and defeated the Philadelphia Eagles 32-25 to head to Super Bowl XLIII. Kurt Warner was 21 of 28 passing for 279 yards and 4 touchdowns, with 3 of them being to Fitzgerald, who also had 152 yards. McNabb had 3 touchdowns and 375 yards passing but failed to convert on a late fourth down play in the fourth quarter.

Lions Hire Schwartz as Coach

The Detroit Lions, after going winless last season (0-16), hire Jim Schwartz as their next head coach. Schwartz had been the defensive coordinator for the past eight seasons with the Tennessee Titans.

Boldin says he will play

Arizona Cardinals receiver, Anquan Boldin, practiced Wednesday, and states that he will be playing against the Philadelphia Eagles in the NFC championship game on Sunday. Boldin didn’t play last week against the Panthers, but it’s not like he was needed much anyway. The Cardinals won easily 33-13.
