Europan Football Championship 2008 Ten best goals.
July 4, 2008
A Youtube compilation with what are considered to be the best 10 goals of EURO 2008. In these highlights, Wesley Sneijder’s brilliant long range effort during the group stage match is the best goal of the European tournament.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is ranked second in the video with his beautifully struck long range shot against Greece. Another Dutch goal is third, as Wesley Sneijder(again !) finished off a fluent Netherlands attack against Italy. Buffon is beaten by the shot.
The rest of the top 10 from number 4 down to 10 is: Nihat Kahveci (Turkey 3 - 2 Czech Republic), Michael Ballack (Austria 0 - 1 Germany), David Villa (Spain 4 - 1 Russia), Bastian Schweinsteiger (Poland 0 - 1 Germany), Semith Senturk (Turkey 1 - 1 Croatia), Lukas Podolsky (Germany 2 - 0 Poland).

Spain 3 Russia 0
June 27, 2008
In the second European Championship 2008 semi-final spain emerged as comfortable winners over Russia. After an evenly matched frst half the russians were swamped by Spain’s fluent football in the second. Spain played with flair and scored three tremendous second half goals through Xavi, Guiza and Silva. Now for the final- the flair of Spain versus the efficiency of the Germans.
Interesting!
Germany 3 Turkey 2
June 25, 2008
In the first of the European Football Championship 2008 semi-finals Turkey made the stronger start in the first half. They had most of the chances in the first half but could
only score one goal in the 22nd minute from Ugur, Germany equalising in the 26th minute through Schweinsteiger. Germany went ahead through Klose in the seventy ninth
minute as a result of non-existent Turkish defending. Turkey though will just not give up and equalised through Senturk with only 4 minutes left on the clock. Unbelievable
Lahn scored for Germany in the eighty ninth minute to give Germany victory over a brave and courageous Turkish team.
