Spain 1 Germany 0: European Championship final

Germany were completely outplayed in the European Championship final of 2008 by a more exciting and skilful Spanish team. Torres put Spain ahead in the 33rd minute but there should have been at least 2 more as the Germans were rarely in the game.

Spain were deserved winners of the tournament and have installed themselves as one of the favourites for the World cup in 2010.

Congratulations Spain !

You cannot be serious. First Portugal, then Croatia, now Holland. The most exciting teams are all going out.

I don’t believe it. And I’m fed up. Germany are going to win the tournament.

Much to the surprise of many people Germany defeated Portugal in the european championship tonight.

In the first of the quarter finals the efficient Germans defeated the quiet Portugese.
