Fenerbahce won comfortably against arch rivals Galatasaray. The visitors went 1-0 up in the 2nd minute of the match, but Sahin equalized in the 6th minute later. An own goal, Lugano and Deivid made it 4-1 for
Fenerbahche.

AC Milan failed to go to the top of the Serie A by only drawing against lowly Lecce.

Ronaldinho put AC Milan ahead 10 minutes from the end of the game and it looked then as if it was all over for Lecce. Esposito scored Lecce’s equaliser in the dying seconds of the game.

Inter Milan 1-0 Udinese

Inter Milan scored a lucky 92nd minute goal through Cruz to leapfrog Udinese to the top of the Serie A in Italy.

The game had been even up until that one but the ‘chosen one’ wins again.

AC Milan will go top tonight if they win.

Blackburn Rovers 0-2 Chelsea

Chelsea duly returned to the top of the Premiership after a straight forward win at Ewood Park on Sunday. Despite the occasional spurt of Blackburn pressure Chelsea never looked really threatened and strolled out comfortable winners thanks to 2 goals from Anelka in the 39th and 68th minutes.

The first goals was a lucky one for Chelsea coming as it did off a deflection from Anelka’s knee and leaving Robinson no chance.

Spurs climbed out of the bottom 3 as their amazing revival continued at Maine road. city meanwhile are sliding down the table and surely Mark Hughes job must now be at risk.

Robinho put City ahead as usual but as usual their leaky defence let in 2 goals, the first coming from Darren Bent in the 29th minute,the second from Bent again in the 64th.

Newcastle dropped into the bottom 3 after this away defeat against Fulham at Craven Cottage whilst Fulham themselves pulled out of the relegation zone.

Johnson put Fulham one nil ahead,their goal was equalised by Amoebi but then Danny Murphy scored his 100th goal to settle the game.

Barcelona played superbly again and demolished Valladolid 6-0, delighting the Camp Nou fans. Samuel Eto’o scored 4 goals with Gudjohnsen and Thierry Henry making it 6 in the second half to .

Real Madrid 4-3 Malaga

Real Madrid win 4-3 at the Bernabeu against Malaga. Real Madrid finally won after 3 games . Malaga seemed to be going to cause Real problems taking the lead early on.

Higuain equalized for Real Madrid 3 minutes later. Malaga took the lead twice more, but Higuain equalized each time. Higuain, scored for the 4th time to give Real Madrid victory and take all 3 points for his team.

Bologna 1-1 AS Roma

Another disappointing result for Roma who were held to a draw by a mediocre Bologna side in Serie A.
Roma took the lead in the second half through Totti and seemed to be heading for their expected win until the first minute of injury time when Cincinho managed to put through his own goal!!

Wigan 0-0 Stoke City

The team with the worst home record in the league (Wigan) played the team with the worst away record in the premiership (Stoke City). You could say a draw was inevitable and so it was.

A dull,dour game with not a lot to say.
