Brazil 0-0 Colombia

 Brazil were unable to defeat Colombia in this South American World Cup Qualifying match

 for 2010. The score was a repeat of their match in Colombia last year and left Brazil second in the World Cup

qualifying group 6 points behind Paraguay and one ahead of Argentina in third plsce.

Bolivia 2-2 Uruguay

FIRST HALF:

Uruguay took a point from Bolivia in the last few minutes of the match. This World Cup 2010 Qualifier for the CONMEBOL region ended a few minutes ago. Bolivia were 2-0 up at half time thanks to 2 goals from Martins.  Uruguay fought back in the second half through Bueno  and Abreu who equalized in the 88th minute.

Bueno makes it 2-1

Agreu equalises:

France 3-1 Tunisia

France played brilliantly tonight at the Stade de France. Thierry Henry hit form again to equualise after France had gone 1 -0 down to Tunisia who scored through Jemaa 30 minutes into the match

Thierry Henry equalized with a superb shot after a combination with Gourcuff to level the score before  halftime .  Henry made it 2-0 for France  from close range. Karim Benzema made it 3- with a superb one touch strike .

Bulgaria 0-0 Italy

Italy could only manage a dull goal less draw versus Bulgaria in this Group 8 World Cup Qualifying match for 2010.

Lippi’s team are still hot favourites to win the group and go to the World Cup finals in South Africa.

Argentina 2-1Uruguay

Argentina returned to the top of the 2010 world Cup South American qualifying table after this narrow win against Uruguay.

Argentina had gone 2-0 up with goals from Messi and Agureo within the first 12 minutes but Lugano made it 2-1 in the 39th minute. And that’s how it stayed!

Serbia 3-0 Lithuania

Serbia beat the group leaders Lithuania comfortably 3-0 in this Group 7 World Cup qualifying match for 2010. Previously Lithuania had been top but this result means that the group is finely balanced with France who are the favourites for the group struggling to find their form consistently.

Venezuela 0- 4 Brazil

Brazil strolled to a comfortable win aganist Venezuela in this World cup qualifier. Brazil dominated the match from start to finish with Robinho scoring 2 goals, Kaka and Adriano one apiece.

Adriano knocks in the third.

And Robinho makes it 4.

Greece 3-0 Moldova

Greece crushed Moldova  3-0 and should stay top in  Group 2 that only has Switzerland as close rivals.

 Charisteas opened the scoring for the Greeks after a superb set piece . Katsouranis made it 2-0 with a long range shot  in the top corner of the Moldavian goal. Charisteas scored his second goal of the night and made it 3-0 in the 51st minute.

Germany 2-1 Russia

Check out the highlights.

Germany won 2-1 versus Russia and remain top of qualifying Group 4. Podolski opened the scoring in the 9th minute and Michael Ballack made it 2-0 after a deep cross . Russia fought back with Arshavin’s goal but Germany eventually ran out convincing winners.

Scotland 0-0 Norway

A dour goal-less draw in this World Cup qualifying match between Scotland and Norway did no side any favours. this result gives Holland the opportunity to move further away in the qualifying group.

The match presented few scoring chances although Scotland did have the best of them.
